Optional analytics are your choice

Nightlife NOW does not start optional product analytics or optional Firebase Performance diagnostics unless you affirmatively choose Continue & Share Analytics. Choosing Continue Without Sharing leaves collection off. Either choice gives you the complete app, including all Free and Venue Pro functionality available to your account.

Change your choice in the app

Open Nightlife NOW, open the menu on the discovery screen, select About & Support, and use the Share app analytics switch. Turning the switch off stops new optional analytics and immediately deletes unsent Nightlife NOW analytics waiting on that device. You can turn it back on later.

What sharing helps measure

In versions that support optional crash reporting, the updated sharing choice also covers Firebase Crashlytics crash and session diagnostics. An older analytics choice does not automatically enable this new reporting. Turning sharing off stops it and discards unsent crash reports. Crash percentages describe participating sessions, not every installation.

When enabled, privacy-minimized events help us measure whether discovery, maps, filters, venue pages, menus, promotions, saves, My Night, and action buttons are useful. Venue Pro reports use aggregate counts with small-cohort suppression. They do not reveal an individual person to a venue and do not claim a confirmed visit, sale, or attendance.

What the switch does not control

The switch does not disable technical information required for security, App Check, Google Maps SDK operation and analytics, content delivery, requested uploads, reports, or other features you choose to use. Location remains controlled separately by your device permission. See the full Privacy Policy for the information used by each feature and its service providers.

Deletion requests

Turning analytics off controls future optional collection and clears unsent events; it is not a request to delete submissions or records already received. To request deletion of eligible information, follow the data-deletion instructions or email privacy@getnightlifenow.com.
